The 17th-century courtyard, part of the famous Vetrinjski Dvorec, is located in the historic city center of Maribor, right on the edge of Grajski Trg. Following its renovation during the European Capital of Culture year in 2012, it has become an important hub for cultural events—serving as a multipurpose venue for events, exhibitions, and productions.
